How to make a cup of coffee even more delightful? Turn it into a work of art, which is what latte artists do. This Dutch site is devoted to the discipline, with two galleries of pictures and details of the annual Latte Art Championships. Among the better links is this Flickr gallery of examples.

And here I was thinking the guy behind the bar at work was cute because he was making hearts on top of my cappuccino !
I am going to show him this and shame him into better art.
Babycinnos…..?! That’s a nasty phrase.
Nathalie: looking at some of the tutorial videos it seems that you can do a heart with a flourish of the milk jug although I imagine it requires some practice (and a lot of wasted milk!). Anything beyond that must take some careful work.
a babycinno is just hot milk with froth on top.
Decadence for the children of yuppies.
